How your personal information will be used

  • We will use your personal information to determine whether you meet our selection process.
  • We will disclose your information to Yorkshire Building Society employees and anyone acting on our behalf on a need-to-know basis to enable them to carry out our selection process.
  • We will respect your right to privacy and will not disclose your personal information to anyone except with your consent or if the law, public duty or our legitimate interests requires us to do so.
  • We will keep your personal record only for as long as is necessary
  • If we sell or transfer all or part of our business, we may transfer personnel records as part of the sale or transfer. However we will only do so under a contract, which protects the confidentiality and security of your information.
  • By providing your information you are consenting to the use of your information as detailed above.
  • You have a right to obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you. This is called a ‘Subject Access’ request. To obtain a copy of your personal information request a Subject Access Request form from any branch or by writing to:
