Getting value without compromise

Now the 2nd largest building society in the UK, it’s no wonder that we’re often on the lookout for even more talented people. And we’re frequently contacted by recruitment agencies looking to help us out. Although always grateful for your interest, unfortunately we’re not able to keep in touch with every agency that contacts us.

We’re also big believers in turning to our existing teams as a first port of call for promotion. Whether that’s directly or recommending family and friends. It’s all part and parcel of the cost-effective way we do business, without compromising on quality.

Preferred Supplier List
That said, our size does mean that on occasion, we do call on the expertise of a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) of recruitment agencies. Each of our teams have built relationships with the suppliers on their own lists to ensure they know exactly what kind of person would fit in perfectly here. With that in mind, we don’t often accept speculative CVs, nor do we update our PSL frequently.

If however, you are invited to be briefed on a role, you will be given a log-in and unique password for our internal system so you can recommend candidates through this website. Naturally, we expect you to put forward only the very best people. We also ask that you interview them, follow up references and other relevant documentation and sign our T&Cs beforehand too.

A few things to note
First and foremost, please don’t advertise on our behalf using our logo without permission. And we ask that you channel all communications/speculative CVs through our Recruitment Team only, and not through line managers – although it’s worth mentioning that we don’t take cold calls from agencies that aren’t on our PSL.
